Vivitek Introduces New Extreme Short-Throw Projector
The New D7 Short-Throw Series from Vivitek Delivers an Excellent Picture Performance from a Short Distance.
Hoofddorp, Jan. 11th, 2011 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of environmentally innovative visual presentation products, today introduces the D795WT Extreme Short-Throw digital projector for the education market. This D7 series will consist of short-throw projectors that are ideal for environments where the projector will be installed at a short distance from the screen, while still requiring a large picture.
The D795WT is a native WXGA digital projector that can create a 2 meter wide image (base width) from about 38 cm distanced from the screen. This is a great feature for any teacher standing in front of the screen as they are not affected by any incident light in the eyes, because of the extreme short-throw projection distance, also there will be no shadows on the screen while presenting. The D795WT guarantees a great picture quality through the DLP® and BrilliantColor™ technologies from Texas Instruments, and delivers a bright picture with 3000 lumens, a 2500:1 contrast ratio and up 6,000 hours of standard lamp-life. This projector is also DLP 3D Ready, making it future proof for education materials to be available in 3D.
“Vivitek wanted to bring an extreme short-throw projector to enhance our product line to customers,” said Holger Graeff, General Manager EMEA, at Vivitek Corporation. “With the technology resources at Vivitek, we developed the D795WT projector designed to better meet the needs of the education market. With the long lamp life, brightness, connectivity options and 3D-Ready capability, the D795WT is an ideal projector for the classroom.”
